Hello! We're Jasper and Ronan and together we direct Hempcrete Cymru Ltd, a natural building company specialising in hempcrete construction. We offer a range of services for new build and retrofit projects including hempcrete solid wall and pre-cast hempcrete block insulation, limecrete floors, breathable roof build ups, timber framing, lime/clay plastering and more. Our aim as Hempcrete Cymru is to be able to offer affordable housing solutions whilst also advocating the need for sustainable, environmentally friendly building methods within the construction industry. It's important for us as a company to represent a sustainable way forward for housing in Wales and beyond.
Ronan (right)
is a skilled stonemason, dry stone waller and builder specialising in traditional methods of building. He has extensive experience in restoration and renovation work, combining hempcreting and stonemasonry. He also has a keen eye for landscaping and design. His interest in sustainable building materials led him to meeting the other half of Hempcrete Cymru, Jasper.
Jasper (left) is a natural building specialist, with expertise in hempcrete, breathable new-build and retrofit construction and reparation of heritage buildings. With many years of experience in the natural building industry, he is a reliable source of knowledge. He has a passion for sustainability and a view to a green future in construction using low impact materials.
Formed in 2020, they have grown their business to be trustworthy and well-renowned. They regularly work with community groups to develop people-owned spaces and have travelled to all parts of the UK to complete builds in the Isle of Skye, Co Durham, Pembrokeshire, Edinburgh, Cornwall and more.
